How to know about the real exchange efficiency about the Power bank?


The battery charger exchange efficiency is not the same as the PCBs. Some factories said the exchange rate is over 90% ,which is not correct. Sometimes, they claim pcb exchange efficiency as power banks to mislead consumers just for proving their high quality.

In Aimtorp, our PCB exchange efficiency is exceed 90% ,and our power bank exchange efficiency is over 80%,which is quality products industry standard level.

It is easily to work out the real exchange efficiency with formula below;

Exchange efficiency=(Real discharging capacity*average discharging)/(battery capacity*3700mv)

For example, our model A-WPB05,


Battery capacity: 10000mah, rated capacity: 6000mah
6000*5v/10000*3.7v=0.819 (81%)

Conversion rate is the electric energy transformation, energy=battery capacity*battery voltage.

According to conversation of energy, when energy fixed, the output capacity will be higher if lower voltage.

For example,
10000mah *3.7V=37wh

when output 5V, the capacity is 7400mah(theoretical value,no include energy loss)

If factory put voltage with 4.7v, the capacity will be 7872mah,

Due to lack of products knowledge, some factory will use the fake power indication to improve the exchange efficiency. If so, it will do great damage to battery with lower voltage.
